This policy explains what information is collected when you visit mnscope.com and what choices you have.

What is collected

You can read the whole site without creating an account or giving your name or email address.

• Server logs. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and running.
• Visitor statistics. We use Jetpack Stats, provided by Automattic, to count visits and see which pages are read. A script from stats.wp.com loads on site pages and sends visit data to pixel.wp.com.
• Google Analytics (only if you accept). If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how readers find and use the site. Only then does a script from googletagmanager.com load and send information to Google (google-analytics.com), such as the pages you view, how long you stay, your approximate location, and your device and browser type.

These providers process this data under their own privacy policies: Hostinger, Automattic and Google. Google also explains how it uses information from sites that use its services.

Cookies

The site sets these cookies for readers:

• pll_language remembers whether you are reading the English or the Mongolian version. It stores only the language code (“en” or “mn”), is sent only to mnscope.com and expires after one year. If you delete it, the saved choice is cleared and the site opens in English, the default language.
• _ga and cookies starting with _ga_ are set by Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies, to tell visits apart. They store a random identifier, not your name. Their expiry is renewed on each visit and lasts up to two years, or less where your browser sets a shorter limit. This is separate from how long Google keeps analytics data.

Your consent

On your first visit, a notice asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Google Analytics does not load until you accept. Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (as mns_consent), not in a cookie, and is not sent to us. You can change it at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If you decline, existing Google Analytics cookies are removed.
